After having a breakfast of पोहा, egg and mango ; I went to BHU with Pushpi Nani. She finally succeeded in obtaining Mummy's Migration certificate ( MA, 1972). We then had a लस्सी near the temple in a very beautiful कुल्हड़ . Nani told me that people of benaras are proud of their potters, which appears to be much more beautiful than potters elsewhere. I found myself agreeing to the aesthetic supremacy.
I got to see the rain, read many अमर चित्र कथाs and talked to Atul mama. Atul mama is a very learned person who knows many subjects and is equally interested to learn new things too. One cannot fail to be impressed by him. He told me about types of 'राग' , how घराना are formed, how Carnatic differs from Hindustani etc. It was a very entertaining discourse for me.
I often think that I can find inspiration abundant within the precincts of my family tree, how lucky am I !
